How do I import data?

Your spreadsheet

Import data by creating an Excel document with Column headers that match the fields in your database. One of your columns must be a unique ID, which will be used to match the data to the existing record. Note that:

• Spelling, spacing and capitalization matters. 
• When importing Tags, all Tag Options in your spreadsheet will be added to your Tag. If you don’t want to import additional Tag Options make sure to delete the from your spreadsheet before import.

Importing into Grouptrail

• Use the Tools menu in the upper right header and then select "Import Workspaces."
• Select your spreadsheet and the data category the information should be imported into.
• Map the columns.
