In Partner Connect we have a couple of options for capturing student participation in a Career Learning experience. The first is to use the Linked Student function in the upper Quick View portion of the CRLE workspace to search for individual students and link these students to the workspace.
- If you click on the grey pencil on the left the text box will change and you will be prompted to search for a relevant workspace, in this case students who participated.
- Type in a student ID#, Last Name or First Name of a student participant
- Information should autofill
- If a student does not appear, it could be that the student ID# is incorrect, or the names are not captured correctly. In rare cases a student may have transferred to another school and thus would be removed from your school roles and no longer viewable by you.
CRLE Participation - Capturing Attendance/Linking Students (Guided example)
Click on the grey pencil on the right of the text box. It will change and you will be prompted to search for relevant workspaces, in this case students who participated. Type in a student ID#, Last Name or First Name of a student participant.
The autofill engine will return the 5 most relevant options and as you continue to type the results will update. You can search by first, last or student ID# . Select the relevant students and hit Save when finished. You can come back to this function to edit or add students in the future.
